Privacy Policy

Gianler is a private, self-hosted social media management tool used to publish Gianler's own content to its own connected social media accounts. This policy explains what data the tool accesses and how it is used.
1. Data the tool accesses
When the operator connects one of his own social accounts through that platform's official OAuth
login, the tool receives the access needed to publish on his behalf. For TikTok
specifically, the tool requests the scopes user.info.basic,
user.info.profile, user.info.stats, video.publish,
video.upload and video.list, which provide:
- basic profile information (name, username, avatar, follower and video statistics);
- permission to upload and directly publish videos to the connected account.
2. How the data is used
Access tokens and the connected account profile are stored solely to publish and schedule the content the operator chooses, on his own behalf. The data is never used for advertising, profiling or analytics beyond showing the operator his own connected accounts, and is never sold.
3. Sharing
Data is not shared with any third party. The only external systems contacted are the official APIs of the connected platforms (e.g. TikTok), and only to perform the publishing actions the operator requests.
4. Storage & security
Data and access tokens are stored on a private server controlled solely by the operator, and are not exposed publicly.
5. Retention & revocation
The operator can disconnect any account at any time, which removes the stored token and stops all access. Access can also be revoked directly from the platform's own app/security settings (for TikTok, under the account's connected-apps settings).
6. Contact
Questions about personal data can be sent to music@gianler.com.
